Power Hungry

I don’t want people to

Dance to my tune

I don’t want anyone to

Bring me the moon

I don’t want them to

Butter me up

I don’t want anyone to

Do my job

That’s why

You think you are riding me

Like your slave horse

You think your power had me

Respect you like my boss

You think I am blind to your

Insatiable greed

Your hunger for power

And your poisonous seed

Did you forget that your power

Will die with you

Did you forget that what you have planted

Will haunt only you

Did you forget that karma gets all

Did you forget that

There is a special place

Where people like you

Rot, waste and fall

Welcome to Room Writer! I am a budding scientist. I love everything that sparks my creative nerve, which includes, but not limited to, writing. I do not have any writing style preferences, hence I like experimenting- anything that inspires me. Let’s call it a fluid-style!
